• Set blinds to a consistent height in every room
• Fix or remove broken blinds and curtains
• Remove space heaters and fans
• Remove personal photos (optional)
• Remove pet bowls, toys, beds, scratching posts

KITCHEN

• Remove tea towels and dish cloths
• Remove magnets from the fridge
• Clear countertops and surfaces of all dishes, mail, keys, tissue boxes etc.

LIVING AND FAMILY AREAS

• Position Couch cushions
• Turn on fireplace
• Remove cords that bunch or run along the floor
• Remove newspapers, tissue boxes, remote controls
• Turn off television

BEDROOMS

• Make the bed
• Remove laundry baskets, stuffed animals and toys

• Close toilet seats
